Roe is back, thumb in nose

She came with a purpose and knew she was going to offend. She says it in her first line. She was going to piss people off other than her intended "targets" and she didn't care. She got the responses she wanted. Move over Feisty we may have a new Drama Whore. Of course it was pulled but here you go.

#465250, "Triumph! Due date for scheduled C- section is here!!"

Hello ladies.

I want to start off by saying that this post might rub some of you the wrong way. And I don't care.

Tomorrow, we will finally see our precious babies. We are well into our 36th week, and I have to admit it feels like forever waiting for our due date.

I have gotten some really wonderful advice fromn some really great people on here. I want to thank you ladies for helping me get through some anxious moments. I haven't had many of them Thank God, but still it was nice to have someone on the other hand give you some good thoughtful advice.

I have also met some really bitter people here. These women attacked me, and even went as far as to assure me that I wouldn't make it to my 36th week or my due date. You lovely bitter ladies, go ahead and eat some kaka. I made it! We made it! Our babies are not only being delivered on the date that we set with our doctor, but the smallest one weighs 4 lbs and 9 ounces.

Looks like we were doing something right hmm?

I want to tell all the new moms on here not to let anyone push them around, or tell them that they aren't good mothers. I imagine that every mother out there has had to deal with some bitchiness, and some awful comments here and there. Don't buy into it. Do your research, talk to your doctors, and don't be afraid to question certain practices if they don't sound or feel right. Listen to your instincts, and to your body. Surround yourself with positive people who radiate love, and peace. If you are spiritual, then pray, meditate, do whatever you need to do to keep yourself in the light.
But don't be afraid to let your nails come out when others try to put you down.

I am grateful to my God, to my family, and friends who have been amazing, and supportive in this journey. I know that when my babies come home with me, there will be new challenges to face, but this first hump has been passed.
My babies are healthy, and being born right on time.

I'm happy for your babies that you made it this far.

BUT, just because I did not make it to 36 weeks does not mean I did something wrong. For you to say "Looks like we were doing something right" is highly offensive to women who did not make it as far as you did. I did everything right. I did everything I was told to do. But I was not as lucky as you. In the end its all about luck. It does not make you a better person or a better mother.

It wasn't meant in that vein. That comment is geared towards the women who put me down, and told me flat out that I was a bad mother and wouldn't make it to 36 weeks. I think I made that clear.

And for the record, I do believe that me doing everything that I had to do for my babies, makes me a good mother. I'm not comparing myself to any of you. But I did a good job. No one is going to tell me that I didn't do my darndest, and succeed.

There is a lot of mis-speaking going around these days...a lot of I didn't mean it that way...this is what I meant and it was clear. (which isn't true in politics and isn't true here either)

I am so glad you made it to 36+...I rejoice for the babies! I rejoice for your family! Congratulations!

Whether it is due to you "doing something right" though is up for grabs. What is right for you is absolutely wrong for someone else!

What you made ABSOLUTELY clear...was that you are looking to thumb your nose today. Fine, as long as your babies are safe...I can handle a thumb and a nose..that was MY main worry, my main anxiety...your babies. I am relieved and overjoyed for them.

I have to agree. I am happy for you, 36 weeks is amazing...congrats! But I don't think this post was called for. It's one thing to come here excited and shouting from the roof tops that you are about to welcome 36 weekers, quite another to come on here and neener neener every one...may be time to grow up now that you are about to be a mother.

Nope. Sorry. I'm not neener neenering everyone. Just the women who had no trouble trying to scare the crap out of me, and assuring me that my babies wouldn't make it.

Sorry, I want to take my happiness, and smear it all over their faces. And I don't care if that is quite juvenile. I'm so happy, that if I could do back flips right now, I would.

I'll grow up some other time. Maybe when the trips come home, and are all screaming their heads off.

Many congrats on making it to 36 weeks!!! WOOT WOOT!!

Now, please provide excerpts or links to the posts/threads wherein "we" told you that you were a bad mother. I dont recall any of those. You, my dear, came here with a nasty attitude from the JUMP - let's keep that straight.

Also have to agree with the previous posters and say - I did all I could to carry my babies for as long as possible. So my 32 weekers are a product of me not doing enough? Hmmmm.. I hope you do "grow up" sometime soon. You WILL come here for help once your babies are born and, quite frankly, those moms who you called "bitchy" are the ones who will offer the most honest, real advice.

You are psycho...smear your happiness all over the faces of moms that were not as lucky as you??? Really??? Do you not get these are real people, with real experiences and real tragedies??

This board is not perfect, but I've read all of your posts and nobody ever said anything to you that wasn't intended to help and protect *your* children. If you thought anything came across as too harsh, you are the one not living in the real world. There are some people on this board that play the role of "cheerleader" and others that tell you what you need to know. It is all what you need to hear...good, bad and ugly. Also, for real... this is a public message board. All different personalities, cultures, levels of education and classes of people post here. However, the only person here that is intentionally being cruel is *you*.

Roe, I felt kinda bad for you at first, thought you were misunderstood with the whole clean house thing.

You could have posted something 100% positive about your pregnancy experience and scheduled c section date, which would show those who have offended you that you are above it all. I don't think the tone of your posts is going to win you a lot of friends or support. The written word is tricky to communicate when you are trying to express yourself.

And, yes you might have done something right to get to 36 weeks, you might be lucky or you might have good genes... I had mine at 34 weeks, no nicu, home with me. I just thank God, not myself. Good luck to you.

I don't think I ever responded to any of your posts, bitterly or otherwise, but you're a true asshole. What really is the point? This is how you spend the last night of your pregnancy? Please grow up for your wonderful babies sake. Honestly, I could care about you, but those babies are going to be precious. Enjoy, and get a life.

Truly. Congratulations to you and your family. You are in for an amazing journey. And the fact that your pregnancy has been uneventful is a blessing.

And I have to be honest. There is a tone to some of your posts that *is* offensive.

Back in 2004 when I found TC, it was my lifeline to ideas, advice and input during a time when DH and I were very apprehensive. I never came on the scene with such an attitude of superiority or abrasiveness that would start negative posts.

Have you ever thought that some of the negative feedback you have received is largely due in part to your attitude and comments?

Lisa

Wow, so I didn't do anything right during my pregnancy and that is why I had 29 weekers? I stopped working, was on bedrest, was on hospital bedrest, ate well, prayed, surrounded myself with positive, but I must have been a bad mom since my babies came early no matter what I or the doctors tried. Maybe I just didn't want to keep my babies in me longer.

No one attacked you but I understand how your hormones could twist the perception of reality, but my experience here has been that no one wanted me to set myself up for disappointment in case I didn't reach my goal of 35 weeks and I prefer honesty over having someone blow flowers up my ass.

Now maybe you can stop gloating and worry about taking care of your babies.

You my dear, seem like a bitch. I have loosely followed you coming here and the drama surrounding you.

Congrats on getting to 36 weeks, you can have your bozo button to go with your gloat. I pray to God that your babies are born healthy. Don't ASSume that just because you made it to 36 weeks that you will have a breezy delivery/take home babies and all that. They are still preemies. They can still have issues, so I hope that you are fully prepared for that. I would hate for you to be caught off guard if something wasn't perfect with your children.

I also hope that if you ever need any kind of advice - and you will - from these ladies that you think are so horrible, that you will take a kinder approach, because as you know you catch more flies with honey.

Oh and if we're keeping track my 33 weeker was 4 pounds, 7 ounces when he was born - so do I win in the weight category since your 36 weeker is ONLY 4 pounds, 9 ounces???

Grow up and realize the audience you are posting too...

Wow you are a gem!

First congrats on doing everything "right" and having 36 weekers.

Your post is absolutely offensive to anyone who didn't make it to 36 weeks. Many of us did everything right, listened to our doctors, questioned doctors, did research etc. and did not make it that far. So I guess that makes you better than all of us!

Your post is childish and "nana nana boo boo" to many on here...not just those who "supposedly tried to kick you down". (Btw....I would love to see those threads too!)

Good luck to you and your babies.....I know you will do everything right and not need any real advice from all the wonderful ladies here who have btdt raising triplets!

Congratulations on making it so far.

But I hate to tell you that just because you made it to 36 weeks or even 37 weeks, does not mean a flipping thing. I made it to 36 weeks and one of my daughters has had more problems than some of the micro-preemies from other triplet moms on this sight.

Your attitude stinks and you are acting like a bitch. I can guarantee you, you have not made any friends here and especially after this post. How dare you suggest that if you do not make it to 36 or 37 weeks that you are a bad mom? I dont care what you say, that is what you implied. You can do everything 100% right and still have babies severely premature. You are really truly pathetic.

Well Congrats on making it as far as you wanted to. That truely is great. I made it as far as I wanted to also. I made it to 36 plus weeks and I'm very glad I did. You and I are very fortunate to have gotten our babies that far in utero.

However many on here were not so fortunate and there is no need to rub there faces in that and basically call them failures. I promise you that they also did all the "right" things and tried just as hard as we did to keep their babies in but things beyond anyone's control happen and then these brave women had to deal w/it. You should consider yourself lucky. I sure do. I got to take all my babies home w/me in 2 days. It was wonderful. It was hard as hell. BUT you know what, I don't think it was nearly as hard as what the parents on here that had to deal w/NICU life had it. Carrying triplets to 36 weeks is very hard work, don't get me wrong but dealing w/your babies being in the hospital for months would have to be way worse in my opinion.

Congrats to all the moms on here for getting your babies as far as you got them in utero and then in life!

Oh, and while we are bragging...my smallest was only 4lbs 12oz so I might just have you beat on that one!!! And my biggest was 6lbs 6oz! And just like MOST of the other mom's one here...I'm a pretty kick ass MOM!!!

Whoa. Congrats on 36 weeks, and I hope that your babies come into this world healthy and breathing and continue that way.

I liken you to a speeding car. Just because you didn't crash doesn't mean it was safe. Regardless of how you feel, you ignored sound advice and were lucky enough that it didn't matter.

I'd quit congratulating yourself for your wit and start thanking your lucky stars that you've made it this far... and maybe while you're in the hospital go take a peek around the NICU and neener neener at some of those parents. I'm sure they'll think you're a riot.

Gee - I don't think I've ever responded to one of your posts. However, this was nasty.

Do you feel better thumbing your nose at 'those who were bitchy' to you?? You did a good job of making others feel put down!

I guess the fact that I spent 6 weeks on hospital bedrest and had to deliver at 34-1/2 weeks due to a failing liver from the pregnancy is my fault. I followed every single instruction I was given - asked a ton of questions, took my medical care very seriously, etc. But...I didn't make it to a scheduled C-sec date.

I'm truly very happy that your babies have the luxury of going almost full-term. I pray that there is no NICU time.

However, thumbing your nose at folks - even if they were mean to you previously - just puts you on the same level as them. Way to make yourself look good.

Do you remember the homebirthing triplet mom, who thumbed her nose at everyone and gave birth to healthy triplets in her home at 36 weeks?

Then when they were 6 months old, they caught RSV, and the one had a febrile seizure and is permanently brain damaged. Remember that?

There are no guarantees in life. Anyone who has been around this site long enough, knows you never ever taunt with your good fortune. God can pull the rug out at ANY TIME.

You and I know that one too well, don't we Laraine? You had yours at 34.5 weeks, and the hospital killed one. I had one at 39 weeks and he has a brain tumor. I cannot imagine purposely setting myself up with bad karma, but I guess Roe isn't worried about that. She KNOWS EVERYTHING.

You got that right Michele!. But Since Roe knows EVERYTHING I'm sure she'll be fine during the sleep deprivation phase (because...well you know, she's perfect). I'm sure she'll be fine during the terrible two's and three's.

Roe - no need to come back here for any adivce when the babies get home. You already know it all. Don't come crying if the rug ever gets pulled out from under you.

WOW. I only made it to 25 weeks with my babies, so I wonder what I was doing wrong? If only I had you to learn from.

I'm happy that you made it so far in your pregnancy. Hope you can keep up that "holier than thou" attitude when you're pulling our hair out with three screaming babies and are unable to turn to the women on this board for help and advice.

Roe,
It's really wonderful that you made it so far. I wish you the best of luck. BUT, my biggest beef with you is that you've stereotyped this site. This site has been a wealth of information and support for me during my journey. Men and women come on here and offer support and their experiences even after they've typed the same thing to fifty other new moms with the same questions. It's a truely remarkable "club" with amazing strong people. I personally didn't "grow up" until I understood the true commitment and sacrifice it takes to have so many children at once. I'm going to pray for you and your family that you do some growing up before your children are old enough to notice that you're just another bully on the playground. People aren't here to tell you that you can't do something (carry babies full term), but it's always best to be prepared for anything. As easily as you made it so far, your water could have broke at 25 weeks and then you would have been begging for support. Good luck. It's sad that you burned such a valuable bridge so early. You're gonna kick yourself in the butt in a few months when you need advice.

I read the whole series of posts last time and didn't respond, I'm not big on getting involved in drama, but this time I can't help myself.

Someone else posted that you are truly offensive to anyone that did not make it to 36 weeks. I disagree as someone who made it to 36 weeks, because I find this post offensive. I don't think that anyone else who was lucky enough to go 36 weeks would ever have posted something like this. I know it was the farthest thing from my mind the night before I was having my c-section.... I mean seriously...?

I know how strong willed you think you are, as you've told us all so many times, but the truly strong willed people that I've met would never have to stoop so low as to post something like this. I believe that all the women on this board did everything that they could to carry their babies as far as they could, if they did not care so much, they wouldn't be on here seeking advice on how to do things the best that they can for their babies in pregnancy and beyond.

I too kind of felt bad for you the last series of posts as I thought that maybe you had been misunderstood somewhat, but I think you clarified with this post just how childish and truly insecure you really are.

I'm extremely happy for your babies that you made it to 36 weeks, I hope that they are healthy and continue to thrive and I hope that having them come home will finally give you a better perspective and attitude, but I'm not holding breath on that one.

You are way too much into yourself. As a mother you need get over yourself and focus on your babies. Most advice given around here is just trying to be realistic and that anything can go wrong at anytime so just take care of yourself while pregnant. No one wishes an early delivery for anyone.

I hope you have healthy happy babies. It's not that you did something "right". Remember even people with full-term babies end up having problems in life so get off your high horse. concentrate on being a great mom to your babies and not what a wonderful incubator you are. It takes more than carrying babies to do things "right". Even those who do everything "right" end up with some issues sometimes. Good luck to you.

Wow conratulations on offending EVERYONE here- even those who didn't 'offend' you- quite an accomplishment !! You are very fortunate that you made it so far into your pregnancy, and I along with everyone here wish nothing but the best for your babies. Your friends and family must be so proud of your smug attitude

I totally agree with the other ladies on here.

You have absolutely NO clue what the rest of us went through to have our babies. Just because you were lucky enough to not have bedrest or any other major health complications does not mean that the rest of us didn't do everything to keep our babies in.

And a little newsflash for you.. Just because babies show 4lbs 9oz on the ultrasound doesn't mean that it is accurate. My smallest showed 4.5lbs on the ultrasound, and at birth weighed barely 3lbs. Even if they are 4lbs 9oz or larger, doesn't mean that you won't have problems at birth. Regardless, they are still Preemies, and the chance of health complications is still very real.

You have a bitchy attitude, and do not deserve the help or answers that this forum provides.

Too bad for you that you have burned this bridge. When you are at home, with your 3 screaming newborns, or up all night, you may just want some advice from some "been there, done that" MOMs. Unfortunately, you will have no one left here to get answers or advice from.

Congrats at successfully pissing off 99% of the MOMS here.

I hope that for your childrens sake, you can get off of your high horse and enjoy your blessings. Lose the "holier than thou" attitude, because in reality, you are very lucky to have them.

Oh, and congrats.

I agree that she ticked everyone off, but if she has a question I would answer it. It isn't her babies fault she is like this (unless it is all those hormones), and I would answer it for their sake. I would kindly suggest to her, again, that if she needs help, she choose a different screen name, unless she is ready to take a bit of what she dished.

Are you for real???

There hae been a lot of narrow minded people on this message board, but this post has to take the cake. I really hope it is narrow-mindedness and you are not really as cruel as you come across.

One day it will hit you, maybe when your kids are in the NICU, or when one of them is sick, or one day when you meet a "twin" mom that you like and then find out that she is actually a triplet mom. One day you will realize that you made it to 36 weeks because you are very, very LUCKY! Hopefully, on that day you have enough class to come back and apologize to every woman on this board that you insulted in the most cruel way.

Congrats on making it all the way! I hope your babies are healthy and your NICU ride is smooth.

I do not post here much b/c all of the posts turn into drama, or the communist mod police DD your post or the entire thread, and God FORBID you want to post a picture. And I do agree that TC is a rock solid clique that it's very difficult to gain access to. If you haven't had your triplets for 5 years, you're ostracized. BUT, for you to start spouting that "you must be doing something right" in order to have your trio at 36 weeks is a total douchebaggery. Have fun raising them, I'm sure you won't need TC anymore after they're born. Burning bridges when you'll need them most is NOT the way to plan ahead for comfort and care. Because I didn't have the internet boards until my trio was 8 months; my midwife told me to stay away from them so I did, until I broke down from PPD and NEEDED help and support.

And here's the thing... My personal goal was to make it to 36 weeks with the trio. I worked, AT WORK, until I was 30 weeks when I went into PTL ONLY from dehydration. I was on light bedrest for 4 1/2 weeks until my trio was born. A week and a half earlier than I had wanted, but guess what??? They were ALL bigger than your smallest... weighing in at 5lb, 8oz, 4lb, 13oz, and 4lb, 14oz. So *I* must've been doing something right, even though according to you the fact that I didn't make my "due date", or 36 weeks, makes me a failure. Oh yeah, and I had a 19 month old when MY trio was born. So suck on that. Who's the failure now?

And I hope for your sake that you have 3 take home babies. LMAO!!! There is nothing worse than leaving your children in the NICU (even though mine were only in for 10 and 12 days) when you go home, EXCEPT for trying to recover from a c-section, wild hormone levels, and 3 screaming newborns. So yeah... HAVE FUN!!!!

Wow...that is the first thing that came to mind as I read your post. I am not one of "those people" that replied to your other post as I try not to get involved in the drama...I just sit here and keep my thoughts to myself. But I do know you were given some REAL advice. But that is history.
Wow...for making it 36 wks...that is great and you are so LUCKY to have made it that far. And yes it is luck! I was LCUKY enough to make it 30 weeks...yes I want to go farther but my body couldn't...doesn't make me a bad mom or mean I did not do everything I could. When we it the 24 week mark I felt lucky...then the 28 week I felt lucky. I thought I did everything right as well...and there are some things I would change if I had to do it over again, but that is hindsight.
My second wow is your holier than thou attitude. Do you know what it feels like to be discharged from the hospital empty handed? Do you know what it feels like to barely see you kids as they are pulled from you? Do you know what it feels like to be told 'no you can't touch your baby' cuz it is not the time to bother them? Do you know what is it like to know what every beep in the NICU is or better yet know how to disconnect machine to bathe your baby? Do you know what it feels like to be able to take one child home and leave the others and then try to figure out how to do things to make it everyday to see them? Do you know what it feels like to get to hold your baby for the first time 7 days or even better 16 days after they were born? It is absolutely heart breaking...all of it! And we had what most would consider and "uneventful" NICU stay. You know what is probably worse is the blame...I blame myself for them being there and still do to this day...and they are healthy. I blame myself for giving them such a rough start to life. But the one thing my hubby and I gave them is fight and they fought every single day. How dare you? I am not a mean spirited person and I have always said I do not wish NICU time for my worst enemy. I hope for your babies they are healthy and do not wish them any NICU time, BUT for you...you should have to...to help you grow up and know what it means to be strong.
This isn't a contest of who is better...TC is meant for getting real advice from the people that have been ther done that...a place to connect with people that can understand what you are going thru. Yes is there drama, of course you will get that anywhere. We will all do things differently, but it is great to get advice from numerous people and be able to pick what advice you will take if any. IMHO, you had a choice to create drama and keep it going, so you open yourself up for the replies you got. YOU did it, not us. If you did not like the replies you got, DON"T respond...seems pretty plain and simple.
Good luck to you in the future as you will need it. I hope you can find help somewhere as I am sure no one here will be willing to help. And yes you will need help at some point.
I will stop there, now I will go put my three 30 weeker miracles in the shower.

You should be thankful that our God is an AWESOME, and all-knowing, God. He will only bless you with challenges that He knows you are capable of enduring. Clearly, CLEARLY, He knows you very well. Amen?

Parents of premature babies, and babies with special needs, have been blessed with the opportunity to love and care for our most fragile angels. The mother of a premature baby needs to be both emotionally and mentally mature enough to meet the special needs of her child. She must be secure enough in the uniqueness of her precious child, that pride and boastfulness fall away allowing room for tolerance and understanding.

Praise God for His wisdom to know your heart. And, praise Him again for knowing mine. =)

Holy hell you really are crazy. Good job in pissing off all of TC, even those who came to your defense last time. I guess I must have done something wrong since my kids were born at 30w, and I suppose I must be doing something wrong now because I was just discharged from the hospital yesterday morning for having too many contractions carrying just one. Maybe I should start scrubbing my house, giving myself mani-pedis, and being a bitch to everyone to make it farther this time.

You need to do your hair and nails BEFORE the delivery that way you look pretty in the pics. You don't want to meet your babies all bloated with no makeup. I had to have 4 blood transfusions so you might want to bring along some blush..hemorrhages tend to make you look pale.

All joking aside, I hope that your babies arrive safely into this world. I made it to 35w+ and it was only by sheer luck and being born with a long cervix that helped.

Since you are so knowledgable with respect to triplet pregnancies, can you please explain what I did wrong that caused my baby to die?

You've chosen to post inciteful messages more than once. Those who responded to you scheduling at 37 weeks were concerned with the safety of four lives - certainly not trying to rip you to tear you down.

I'm glad that you've made it this far but cannot understand the meanness you've chosen to bring today. I suspect you are giggling at each response because of the attention you've brought to yourself today - good for you - giggle away. But someday, please remember that everyone here just wants the best for each other and, most importantly, for all of our children - and that far too many here were not lucky enough (luck is a huge factor) to make it anywhere near 37, 36, 35, 34, 33...weeks. WE don't deserve your spite.

You are not the person that new posters should turn to and I hope they are able to see that.

Good luck tomorrow.

Marie

Wow! This is a really mature attitude. Guess what? I had 36 weekers too. Do you know how I got there? LUCK! It wasn't because I did anything special or different than any other mother. I was lucky. My body was capable of handling a triplet pregnancy until 36 weeks. You didn't get to this point by being a better mother than any one else. It was luck. Some people get to 36 weeks, most don't. We are all caring mothers who did the best we could to go as long as possible in our pregnancies.

Don't think being 36 weeks automatically guarantees no NICU time. My son spent a week in the NICU. It doesn't remotely compare to what many of these other ladies went through, but it was still difficult. Leaving one baby in the hospital is emotionally hard for any amount of time.

I hope you plan to apologize or post under a different screen name when you need advice about the babies...and you will. Somehow having 3 screaming newborns to take care of will humble anyone and make them realize they don't know as much as they thought they did.

Lori

Congratulations on making it to 36 weeks, but you have got to be kidding me. I gave you the benefit of the doubt after some of your other posts, that maybe the words were just coming out wrong and you didn't mean to sound so offensive. This just changed my mind.

You lucked out making it to 36 weeks. I had hoped to make it that far too and did everything you are advising new moms on TC to do. Unfortunately I barely made it to 26 weeks and one of my sons is dead. So, yeah, I take offense, even though I was not one of the bitter ladies you are thumbing your nose at.

As quirky as TC can be, I truly believe that nobody would have said "I told you so" if you had gone into pre-term labor and delivered many weeks too soon as so many here have. If you dislike the bitchiness, then rise above it. Instead, you just managed to piss off a whole lot of people and I have no idea what you hoped to gain from that.

Roe,

I haven't read any of the responses to this yet. I'm sure I don't have to to know what they say.

I'm glad you made it past 36 weeks, so that your babies will get the healthiest start.

I delivered at 30 weeks, 2 days. I had not one single problem up until then. Not one at all - I never puked, I didn't have back pain, I never swelled up; I was even wearing my wedding ring the day I delivered, on the correct finger. I basically sat around most of the day, with a few trips to the store our out to eat.

But I guess I had done something wrong. Because one of my girls had a brain defect - even though I'd been taking prenatal vitamins for MONTHS before I even got pregnant. So I guess whatever I did killed her. And her death made me deliver early - I guess the body doesn't feel the need to continue nurturing a dead baby. I prayed every day as well that my daughter didn't die. I apparently don't know how to pray properly either, or maybe I'm just not that popular with god.

My goal had been 36 weeks - 37, actually, because my husband's cousin had carried that long. But obviously I am a horrible mother. Can't get much worse than killing your daughter, can you now. I'm glad you were so perfect that you were lucky enough to not have to experience pushing out a dead baby. Oh yes, I said push - because I am one of the rare people who got to deliver her babies vaginally. Everything about my pregnancy was awesome except for that dead baby part.

I'm pretty sure you're going to get kicked off the board after this. But good luck. I hope things go well, and if you came back with questions I would respond. . .although I am guessing you will be one of those people who won't consider me a true triplet mom since I am only raising two.

Amy - I'm so sorry about the loss of your little girl. I too lost my baby girl when she was 2-1/2 days old. In my case it was due to the ineptness of a doctor in the NICU.

I'm sorry that you are part of the 'triplet moms with less than 3 live babies' club. It totally sucks. The pain gets better over time, but never goes away.

If you ever need to talk or vent - feel free to e-mail or PM me.

I realise this is your last day pregnant. You could have saved yourself a LOT of typing and just posted this instead. it is what you wanted to say anyway and about as mature.

During the last drama I also thought there was a misunderstanding and told you as such. I told you not to give up and the responses you got came from a good place. But this post from you only shows you don't come from a good place. What is worse women who tell you in sometimes harsh tones to take it easy during your pregnancy in an effort to PROTECT YOUR BABIES. Or you coming and trying to rub in everyone's face, prematurely I might add, your superiority as mother because you carried longer than most. BTW: Nobody wished you an early delivery they only gave advice to PREVENT an early delivery because they had gone through it. How did you not get that?

As for offending everyone with this post, I'm not offended. I am actually laughing. I am laughing because you judge the success of your pregnancy by the length of its duration not the health and well being of the children. I didn't make it to 36 weeks, THANK GOD! If I had my son wouldn't be here. I delivered at 30 weeks and we discovered in the OR that my son had not one but THREE true knots in his umbilical cord. One was pulled tight and had remained pregnant another day or even few hours he probably would have gone into distress and it would have been a more emergency situation and could have lost him. As it was I delivered due to PROM of his sisters bag of water. She saved his life. We are lucky they have no complication or delays from being mature and we have three happy healthy kids. So I can truly say TRIMPH!! And even then I was LUCKY. It so easily could have gone the other way. Due to something I could neither cause nor prevent no matter what I did.

I truly wish you three happy healthy children.

Holy Crap lady! Are you nuts or something? You are not writing an e-mail to 5 "mean" people who weren't nice to you. You are writing to 100's (maybe) of people that you just offended. Geez, I am very happy to hear you are making it to your goal of 36 weeks and that your little ones will probably be better off than mine. Well, you will be in for a big surprise when those kids come and YOU are no longer the center of attention. I guess you could act like a big baby too and keep having your friends and family pump sunshine up your ass. Who knows. All I know is that now you pissed off even more people and your group of people who will help you out in the early days that you will be struggling through..just got a whole lot freaken smaller. I have never posted to you, because you come off like a person who wants to create drama and sit back and watch the responses fly in. I couldn't help myself this time, you seem like such a jerk.

Good luck with the delivery, I mean that. I hope it all goes well and the kids are in great shape.

I think it is time for you to create a new screen name.

First thing that came to mind when I read you post was BITCH! How dare you come here where people tried their hardest and that wasn't good enough. It wasn't good enough to the point some people lost their babies ALL OF THEM. And then for you to rub you ugly nose all over, pointing fingers at those who, for health reasons couldn't carry their babies to their goal date, it is just plain rude!!

I honsetly can't fathom what would posess you to come here and write this.. I am extremley offended at everything you wrote!

I think you can take your "positive" attitude and shove it up your big ass. Honestly! You are a piece of work and a wacko!!

That is totally great you made it to 36 weeks and that definatley deserves some props. But for you to come here and post this shitty attitude for the world to see was really, really uncalled for!! I hope you realize you are not welcome back here anymore EVER!

Wow, if you think the people on TC are rude or bitter, you will have a very rude awakening when you enter the real world with your triplets. People who don't have HOM have no idea the struggles (or joys!) that we go through. People you don't even know will tell you how they think you should raise your kids, that they would kill themselves if they had trips, etc., and they have no clue what it is like to be in your shoes. My point is, I get sooo much encouragement from this website and you really don't want to burn any bridges here, because trust me...NO ONE will be able to understand what you are going through except those of us who have already been there, and there are not many of us.

Congrats on your long pregnancy and best of luck to your little ones. Maybe your hormones are wonky right now, and that is why you are acting like a B@#$! on wheels!
