I had the TV on and Martha Stewart had an audience full of pregnant women. The entire Gosslin family was on too! They all looked great! I was hoping for a longer interview, but it was only about 8 min.
It was on at 2:40CST.

One other question.....why did she put Saran wrap around her tummy while she was pregnant? I never heard of that.

There is a medical product called mepiform that is used to prevent tearing and scarring of the skin. It's a type of silicone surgical dressing that looks like plastic wrap. Since Mrs. Gossilin is a nurse, she may have just known about it or maybe her doctor did.

My wife had 2nd degree burns on her belly. Her skin stretched so much it burned. They put antibiotic ointment and vaseline on her belly with saran on top. The saran wrap was so the stuff wouldn't get on the bed. See there's a simple answer to everything. hahaha
I thought it was funny, too.

I was a bit surprised that she did not mention that she has help. OR that she had help in the beginning. Our helpers for a meal, yard work or a feed are our heroes. We recently were interviewed in a local magazine and we stressed that it is manageble with help, so with 6 I can only imagine. I recall something that the funding was cut for their nurse once the sextuplets were 1yr old and they were trying to prolong her help with funding from the gov't. I have not heard anything else from that. Sounds like they did not prolong it!

We are not disclosing any info. My wife was asked How is she doing it alone? She answered the simple question. Certain media outlets check this forum frequently on us so we can't say anything. Yes we had lots of help in the beginning and we are very thankful for that help. But the question that was directly asked was about the present. Also if you have never been in the media they shoot hours worth of tape and edit it down. So basically they cut and paste into their segment what they need and throw the rest away. So please try to understand the situation. We are truly thankful. But sometimes the truth is never portrayed properly.
