Someone just called and told me that 7 teachers at nates old school have been fired and the principle... Not sure this is true.. The superintendent did tell me he was changing things.. Wow I asked Nate if the teacher change if he would want to go back he said NO.. He said he loves his NEW school.. WOW makes my heart feel better....

I have been following you story and just had a chance to respond...
GOOD FOR YOU!I can't imagine that anyone in a school setting would think that was o.k. behavior!I hope that you bringing this to the supers attention got things changed and fast.I hope that one day the mom who knew this was happening and did nothing runs into you and has the chance to thank you.I am so glad that Nate already likes his new school,Amy how could he not LOVE it?????He is no longer being punished in unaccepatable ways...he is being treated w/ the respect that he deserves.....

where in the world do these teachers come from, the Dark Ages? I'm so sorry your babies had to go through this. I will definetly be vigilant about checking up on teachers when mine go to school. I had a horrible teacher in gradeschool that liked to humiliate me, (comments about my lack of intelligence, comments on my body, etc.)and it didn't occur to me to tell my parents about it becasue he was my "elder", and i was taught to obey. I still think about that aweful man.
