are they still for sell? I need one for Bren's cribs so you can't climb the sides when he comes home. Thanks.

HUH? Bumpers to prevent "you" from climbing the sides?

I'm just curious do they have bumpers in the hospital? He will have a vent and other wires when he comes home right? Seems like bumpers, breathable or otherwise, would get in the way. Especially at his age. Does he even need them at all?

He doesn't stand up yet and it will not get in the way. He had bumpers before. His vent tubbing goes through the crib railing. I just want to get them in case. C has but that is because he moves so much at night that he often wakes up with legs and arms hanging out of the crib.

Bumpers ars supposed to be out of cribs when a child is standing up. Kids can stand on them to help get out. I don't think they would really be able to stand too well on a Breathable Bumper but they are not going to be a deterrant to climbing at all. As a PP stated, they would probably just be in the way of all Bren's equipment.

I wouldn't use a bumper at all if he's climbing. Once our kids started standing and walking we took their bumpers out b/c they use them as a step to get up higher. My DS is already figuring out how to put loveys stacked up against the rail to get higher. We'll need a crib tent soon...
