"I'll be back on Tuesday. Nita (mauitripletmom) asked to be removed from the board. I have also deactivated madmolly, kylamel, and baseballmom9 for the time being."
Please stop emailing/PMing me with accusations that it was me. I cannot "ban" people. I'm just trying to keep the board running smoothly and thought I was doing a pretty good job at it being in the position I am in (work full-time, on-call 25% of the time, 4.5 year old triplets... you get the picture). Jeff and Janet have the final say on everything. Anything I do on the board (to include deleting threads and removing posts is run by them always). I do appreciate the attaboys I received from you gals too. I'm sure Jeff will post on Tuesday, please be patient.

FWIW, between the time I went into the hospital to deliver my babies to the time when I came back to TC a little while after they were home, my original username became disabled, invalid or something. I had not done anything wrong, no rabble-rousing, I wasn't even here. Just something happened. Someone finally got a hold of Jeff on my behalf and even he couldn't fix it. So he gave me a new identity - tulip - same as my old one - Tulip - but without the capital T.
Which means, for those of you who seem to obsess about my post count, that it actually would be higher if one was able to add my previous count to my present count.

Something along those lines happened to me too - I know I didn't do anything to warrant me getting kicked off so I chalked it up to computer glitch. Going to Jeff cleared it up he was very helpful and nice.

It happens periodically. Somehow a large number of people are virtually purged from the system. Hopefully it's a fluke and you'll all be able to reuse your former accounts.

I am interested to see how Jeff went about banning certain people and not others. I (formerly kylamel) never threatened this maiuitripletmom nor did I belittle her. SHE threatened me with harm from her and her WHOLE ENTIRE family.

Glad to see you are still here. It is unfair and I am really very sorry for everyone involved that has been hurt over theis experince. I received no emails, no communication, just dropped from the site after almost two years. The situation was handled poorly and my disappointment in the powers that be is emmense.

There have been alot of things that have been handles poorly on this site for oh id say a few years now. We continue to have fakers here, the higher powers know they are fakers, these people have done alot of negative damage to great members here. Yet they still post.
In the 8 years ive been here I have found that if you post, reply, to anyone as long as its positive your good to go. Otherwise more than likely posts get pulled. This is a free country, this is the internet people. Everyone is going to agree to disagree. That is the change you take. However I have noticed over the years that certain members can get away with just about anything, others cant.
There are several other multiples websites out there that are fantastic with no bs like here. Im all for a change, its long overdue. lol

You make a good point...I was wondering myself why differing opinions get yanked, but cyber hugs for fruitloops are encouraged???
I asked this before on an old post that was of course pulled, why is it that if you have an opinion that might be different than someone else and you are not 100% supportive you are a bad guy?? Support does not always come in the way of "you go girl", sometimes it's "you need more help than cyberspace"...
Why these "controversial" posts are pulled and we are relegated back to stepford wife mentality is something I just don't understand...assuming we all are adults and have triplets what's the big freakin deal???

I have had the same issue with this place for a long time. Support does not mean 100% agreement all the time. Some times support comes in the form of a much needed reality check. The truth sometimes hurts but needs to be said. Sometimes being told "you are doing great" isn't the best thing. It may feel good for those few minutes you are reading the replies, but it isn't going to actually help you make the situation any better.

YEAH!!! I remember posting about something when my trio was REAL young and I had 2 or 3 people set me straight instead of cyber hugging me, etc. I have to say that Tulip was one of them and I NEEDED that reality check at that time (thanks Tulip). It really put my situation or crisis at that time into perspective - THAT is helping people, not sending hugs and ignoring issues - IMHO.

oh oh me too - I need a new home, since it's obvious that I don't belong here! I'm a vet mom with trips too young to contribute or really get guidance from the vets. No interest in the pg, newborn and infancy stage of triplets anymore and really don't remember enough of it to offer up advice. Not too many that are in the same situation as me, raising teens and trips (except for my godsend Lesa) and so where does that leave me? Not here, that's apparent.
So I'd love to get the links to these other sites where I may speak my mind and discuss things in a real way instead of a perfect way and not have to worry (which I don't anyways) about my posts getting pulled or getting jumped on for not saying things are all sunshine and roses!

Just 3 so far and that we know of and maui mama apparently asked to be removed, whatever that means. Who asks to be removed, just leave!!!
I think kylamel got the shaft on this one, she did nothing wrong! But because of big mouth bertha (maui not madmolly ) Mel was caught in the crossfires and I really think they just chose randomly the last names they saw or something...still trying to figure this one out!

I missed whatever happened was only able to read some of it before it disappeared. I thought we were all adults here or suppose to be anyway. Seems like 8th grade nonsense, being banned. Where did Maui come from and where did she go anyway?

Apparently she has some tie to Janet, even though she has only been a lurker here for about 2 months. When Tiffani jumped in to explain that the shouting was not appropriate, Maui said that she was going to tattle on her to Janet. Then she said that her whole family was going to beat us up and that her family is bigger than mine.
Shortly thereafter the recess bell rang and our 2nd grade teacher called us back to class. LOL!

I agree with Chrissy. I am new, but I have always loved the posts and Lesa your website was the most helpful that I have seen. I will miss you guys a bunch if you leave. As a new mom, I need your honesty.

Don't feel bad. I was banned from a fibromyalgia website for asking someone if they were addicted to methadone. I mean seriously, he said in about every post he typed on that site that he took so much methadone on a daily basis, yet he worked, drove, took care of his kids and was a coach! Yet the methadone he took didnt really help his fibro pain. We still cant figure out how the man can walk taking that much meth, he either was a liar or his doc that prescribes it to him is a quack.

awww - I want in on the cool site too. I keep my mouth shut here most of the time, but I would love to be able to reflect on some of my "inner" thoughts from time to time as I read this forum.
P.S. - I think I might know as I recently heard of it, but didn't think it was for real.

I just read Jeff's explanation, and while I can "understand" that logic, what I dont understand is how he didn't recognize that Maiui started threatening me and michelle before anything else happened.
After stating that I offended her ENTIRE family, I was "lucky" that I didn't live in her town. Then she went on to threaten michelle with her gigantic family. Now that behaviour ok as long as we dont respond?? Doesn't seem very fair.. but now that I have beat a dead horse.. I will await Jeff's response to my email...

Because of the furror over the mauitripletmom and flame war that was generated, 3 people were deactivated from the board and 4 were permantely removed.
Sorry I didn't have time to alert the board last night but after spending far to many hours at 1am Sat morning I had to call it quits.
Anyone who would like to personally email me at the office (webmaster@tripletconnection.org) about the decision, I will be back either Tuesday or Wednesday. I do respect your input.
Janet and I are in Sacramento on a matter of personal family business.
