I jumped on the backs of the "intervention girls" when this whole thing happened. I thought they were picking on her. I enjoy sticking up for the underdog! It's my thing. But when I was told to search her posts before I judged them, I was surprised. Perhaps you could do this too.
There are people with real losses, real troubles, on this board who need support. They don't need some whack job coming on to "one up" them. She is a drama sucker, an attention seeker!!! Seriously. Check it out. I try not to hurt feelings on here (I get a little wacky myself with the vaccine issues) but in general I am not a mean poster. Her fictious drama is like an ugly plauge that infests the board. I am just tired of it!

I'm not getting sucked into any drama. I have seen the history of the posts and I know of what you are referencing. I understand the doubts about the veracity of certain claims. But despite all of that, being mean-spirited is not the way to react to it. I stand by my original opinion: at least be neutral or ignore. Calling someone a whack job serves no positive purpose. Trying to sabotage their posts doesn't either. I'm sure you wouldn't be proud if one of your children chose that as the way to deal with someone with whom they had issues.

You really are getting sucked into the drama when you bump a post about friggin plane tickets....that has what what to do with triplets...it was obviously another drama the new people to this board will throw their arms wide open with cyber hugs of sympathy.
I guess I'm going to raise bullies because if calling someone a whack job gets them to stop their bad behavior...I say bring on the name calling...seriously...if you are a triplet dad...why would you come on here and add to existing drama??? Most triplet dads wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole!

Ok, lets not start attacking some poor fella that is just trying to do the right thing. I think his whole point is that if you have nothing nice to say, dont say it.

I did the same thing...at first. I even lashed back at my friends! I thought they were kicking her while she was down. But come on!! A few days back when I voted "What," I was irritated at her lack of compassion. There was a true heartbreaking loss on the board and she has to attempt to trump it with her own drama! I about fell out of my chair. She crossed the line. Enough is enough.

Those are the parts I don't understand or agree with. Why answer "What" to the "....or what" question? Why place an UGH in the plane fare question? (I know that second was not you but I am trying to speak conceptually here not literally) It just seems as a "connection", we should be bigger than that.
And I know that this is not you but what could I have possibly said or done that makes it questionable that I actually have triplets and that I need anyone's "benefit of the doubt" on that matter?

Last time I checked, this forum was open to both Mom's and Dad's. We even have the privelage of a few Grandma's and Auntie's!
There are PLENTY of Dad's who frequent this board. I would guess that on occasion there are more "women-related" topics that a Dad may feel either uncomfortable replying to or have not had direct personal experience with (ie: periods, sore boobs). I know dh wouldn't feel qualified responding to those particular subjects, just as I wouldn't if the topic were jock itch or something!
Not trying to make everyone even more pissy, just posting in defense of all of our Dad's and their valuable input.

My issue here is only between 2 things:
burying a post
ignoring a post
I didn't think it was good form to bury a post in a mocking way, which even I a dense male with only 18 posts was able to easily detect.

Over the past two month, her husband has job issues, they can't find section 8 housing, she has relationship troubles, and her dad and her grandma suffer health concerns (GRAVE ONES!!). Plus her husband almost dies of some crazy blood thing. Then the pharmacy screws up and she is accosted in a darkroom resulting in police action. AND NOW two people have died!!! HOLY COW!!!
If she posts on triplet related topics, it's only about molestation, child abuse, and mysterious illnesses! And all of this occurred in the last two months and all surrounding other posters real situations.
It's absurd and it needs to be stopped! You can attempt to confuse the issue if you chose. Certainly by involving yourself in the drama, we have to pull your man card. You can't get it back until you come to your senses! LOL!
(P.S. I don't doubt you have triplets, I jsut don't care either way. If you have a triplet concern or question, I would love to offer whatever supportive advice I have. But, here, in this situation your children status is not of my concern.)

Question for you tripledad? Who are you? Your posts are unbelievably ambiguous. You have 18 posts, none of which are really helpful. You said in one that you had 34 weekers, then in another post 33 weekers. You basically answer questions with, "let's share and compare." Then you jump into something you know NOTHING about. Thanks for the evaluation on my posting effectiveness ratio. I guess the fact that I have only posted 18 times immediately makes any thoughts I have of no value.
The posts in this thread were intentionally ambiguous to avoid insulting someone.
Our triplets were born at 33 weeks 5 days. Please tell me the appropriate way to refer to them so that it won't cause you further distress.
As to who I am, obviously you already know that since you can tell me what topics I know NOTHING about. You must already have complete insight into my persona.

stop yourself my man....we are good peeps over here....you would like us if you are who you say you are (still questionable but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt)
It's not that we don't like do gooders, I'm not one, (but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night) it's just that if you only have 18 posts you can't possibly have been around for what we have endured in the way of getting sucked into drama after drama after drama.
keep it real...don't tell me I'm raising bullies and bitches because I choose to mock someone that CONTINUES to seek out sympathy when people on this board have REAL problems that don't post half of what they go through.
If I posted asking for ideas on where to get gas because there are so many gas stations would you bump that one as well??? just checkin big man.
